Steps to clear Outbound tRFC Queue (MCEX*)
Steps to clear Outbound tRFC Queue (MCEX*)
The Basis team will put the ECC and BW systems in a downed state when we install patches or migrate SAP servers. The BASIS team will then be able to apply the changes and migrate the server activity after all of the delta records have been migrated to the BW system.
The user must lock themselves into the SAP ECC and BW systems and halt the basis team's work before clearing the queue.Additionally, we must cease the client's posting; otherwise, the system would continuously update with deltas.
This document will show how the MCEX queues are cleared by the V3 jobs and move the data to RSA7 (Bw Delta Queue).
Steps to clear Outbound Queue
- Check the LBWQ/SMQ1 t.code for MCEX*
- Clear the outbound queue using the LBWE
- Go to LBWE transaction code and click the Job Control.
- Then click Start date
- Set the Start date/ duration of the job
- Click Job overview
- Then check the LBWQ
Now, the queue MCEX03 has been cleared. Likewise move the queue MCEX11, MCEX12 and MCEX13 from LBWQ to RSA7.
- Once all the queues clearing activity is completed, we can check on t-code LBWQ having no entries
Steps to clear Delta Queue (BW*)
- Check the RSA7 and move the data into BW System using Info Package
- Go to Info package and trigger the delta.
- Now, the 2LIS_02_SCL becomes zero by default.
- Likewise proceed with all the extractor. Now, all the extractor must be zero (0)
- Check the SMQ1 transaction code if any Queue Name start with MCEX** or Destination BWCLNT*** (i.e. your BW System name).
- If any entries are available, then trigger the equivalent Info package in the BW System.
- Finally, our SMQ1 should not have any entries like MCEX** and BWCLNT** queue.
NOTE: Above activities Applies to: SAP BW/BI
Steps to Clear TRFC Queues
If there are a large number of failed entries in SM58, remove them to reduce the total storage size of the ARFCS* and TRFCQ* tables. If the Log file / Reorganize method of cleaning the SM58 is still not effective in removing undesirable / failed entries, the report RSTRFCQD can help.
Also, if one attempts to delete the SM58 entry directly using the delete option, it will throw the following dependence, which will not delete even after using the DDIC user.
- TCode SM58, make the selection as per your requirement and then execute (TRFC records can be deleted directly from SM58 (Log file / Reorganize))
- Click on Log file and then reorganize
- Selection as per the requirement in which want to delete TRFC and then execute
- Executive the program in background
- Job is ruined in background and finished
